Sermon Recap Videos
The "Why" behind sermon recaps is to give the viewer a taste of the message. A small point that would impact them if they missed the sermon.
However, sermon recaps should entice them to want to go watch the rest of the message.
What kind of clip?
The clip selected should include a captivating point but can also include a story or something funny.
Captions should be legible, dynamic, and not generic (not produced by the social platform).
Music should be included under the clip to increase the value of the overall clip.
Recaps should have a unifying theme between the way the previous recaps looked and the new ones. They shouldn't all look the same but should have the same feel.
Speaker should always be on camera with face centered on screen (at least for the first 30 seconds)
call to action
A call to action for the viewer to watch the rest of the message should be included at the end. This is one of the major reasons to do recaps to begin with.
